…and some extra thank-you’s too!

Whilst “A Wild Life” dominated the last month on all fronts, I also want to express my gratitude to all the other clubs, associations and individuals that have contributed to my conservation efforts. Firstly, the purchaser of the limited edition I donated to the silent auction at the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s dinner at the Dorchester Hotel. The sale of the piece raised substantial funds on the night, and I’m delighted that it is on the wall of a new owner somewhere, putting elephants right in the spotlight every day. For reference, there is just one copy now left of that particular image – so enquire if interested.

Eternity

I would also like to extend a special extra thank you to Bookham Camera Club and Sheffield Photographic Society. Although I give talks where possible, and everyone is always very gracious, these two clubs have stood out in the last couple of weeks for not only covering my fee on the night (which always goes to charity), but also organising collections. The result was that between them, they raised a further £850 (maybe a little more actually), all of which has also gone to the Foundation. I am eternally grateful for all of you who came along on the nights I gave the talks, and an extra special thank you to those who managed to find the time to make an extra donation. Have a fantastic Christmas!
