Exhibitions over…expeditions begin!

Exhibition season may well be over for me for a while, as travel and assignments start to take precedence again, but it was a great summer and I’d like to thank everyone who found the time to visit the Mall Galleries or Chelsea Town Hall over the last couple of months. The Mall in particular was a huge success, and it was great to spend a week talking through some of my favourite images of the last two years, and, of course, seeing most of them depart for the walls of collectors right across the country – thank you! I’ll be exhibiting again in December this year when all the travelling is done, so will keep you posted.
It’s now time to turn attention to the job of taking pics again, and I’m looking forward to meeting a group of budding UK photographers in the Pantanal next week and spending a couple of weeks with them putting them through their paces! If you are one of those joining me – I’ll see you in Cuiaba! As with all wildlife photography, we never know what we’ll find, but we will be trying as much as possible to secure some excellent Jaguar sightings. The main thing, however, that always remember if this is your hobby, then your primary goal should be “enjoyment”, rather than getting hung up on the “perfect shot”. Relax and let the Bush come to you…as I was told about 25 years ago by a very wise guide in southern Africa….and he’s never been wrong 🙂
